Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This policy explains how Northpine Studio ("we", "us") handles information when you use our mobile apps and this website. It applies to every app we publish unless that app has its own privacy page, in which case the app page adds to or replaces the parts of this policy it covers. App-specific pages are listed under App-specific details.

The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell your personal information, and you can contact us at any time at hello@northpines.app to ask what we hold or to have it deleted.

Information we collect

Information you give us

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to fix problems.

Some apps let you enter content (for example notes, photos or preferences). Unless an app's own page says otherwise, that content stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Information collected automatically

Purchases and subscriptions

Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your card details. We receive confirmation of what you purchased, when, and whether a subscription is active, so we can unlock the features you paid for. We may use a subscription management provider to verify receipts and show purchase screens; it receives the same purchase information and an anonymous app user ID.

How we use information

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising except where you have opted in through your device's tracking permission. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, such as:

The specific providers each app uses are listed on its app page. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.

Advertising and tracking

On iOS, we ask for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any data is used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. If you decline, we don't track you. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings at any time.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Support emails are kept for up to 2 years. Diagnostic and usage data is kept in aggregate or deleted within 13 months. Purchase records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax law.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (including the EU, UK and California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email hello@northpines.app. We will respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

You can also:

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use encryption in transit and reasonable safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit who can access it.

International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

App-specific details

Each app's page lists exactly what it collects and which providers it uses.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will also tell you in the app.
